🎬📺Nightcrawler (2014)❤️ 4/5⭐ Nightcrawler is a 2-hour documentary about your local news station, except the psycho has better manners than the anchor. Lou doesn’t create the appetite. He just shows up with a camera before the cops finish the tape. The real joke is that the station still acts shocked when the footage prints money. Lou Bloom isn’t a villain. He’s the only honest man in Los Angeles. Everyone else pretends the news is a public service. He treats blood like inventory and ratings like payroll. The movie only feels evil because he says the quiet part with a smile and a business card. If that bothers you, you already work for him. Jake Gyllenhaal plays ambition like a medical condition. The voice, the posture, the dead little smile when someone says no, Lou Bloom is the best monster performance of the 2010s because he never twirls a mustache. He negotiates. He takes notes. He improves. That’s scarier than any slash of violence in the film. ⭐Synopsis: Unemployed man discovers crime pays if you get there before the ambulance and frame the body correctly. He hires an assistant, upgrades the camera, and learns that ethics are a negotiation. By the end he has a company, a team, and a news director who needs him more than he needs a conscience. American Dream, night shift.

The undead battle begins Spider-Man faces off against Sunny in an intense GTA 5 zombie showdown.

Robert Pattinson didn’t forget Hermione Granger. He held the name until she looked up. Cedric’s actor. Emma’s already at the table telling him to get it right. He stalls. She stands up. That’s the clip. In the book Viktor Krum does the same thing out loud and calls her Herm-own-ninny at the Yule Ball. She corrects him. Ron hears it and hates that she does. The films cut the pronunciation fight down to a joke. The text keeps it because the name is the first thing people get wrong about her, and she never lets it sit. Mudblood comes later. The name comes first. People watch him drag it and call it a crush. She still wanted it said right. The books never let that one slide either. #harrypotter

During my college days, I had a roommate named Andrew. Andrew was one of the smartest and brightest students in my class. He was the kind of person who made difficult things look easy. He wasn't just good at memorizing things. He actually understood what he was studying. Whenever I didn't understand something, I could ask him, and he would explain it in a simple way until I got it. Everyone in our program knew Andrew was one of the best students. Then there was another student named Dylan. He was just as smart as Andrew. In fact, some people thought Dylan was even smarter. The two of them were always competing. They never talked about it openly, but you could tell they both wanted to be the best. By our junior year, everyone already believed that one of them would eventually graduate as the best student in our class. Then came one of the most difficult courses we had to take. When the grades came out, most of us were just happy to pass. Many students got average grades and were still pleased with their results. Dylan got an A, as usual. But this time, Andrew got a B. I remember Andrew staring at his grade for a long time. He was really upset with himself. He kept asking, "How did I get a B? I studied so hard for this." I didn't know what to say. Andrew had studied hard, attended his classes, and never cheated. ...

🎬📺The Holdovers (2023)❤️3.5/5⭐ The Holdovers is the only Christmas movie that understands the holiday is mostly a room full of people who didn’t get invited anywhere else. Paul Giamatti’s ancient-history teacher isn’t quirky. He’s a man who chose the past so he wouldn’t have to survive the present. That’s the whole film. Every boarding-school movie wants you to root for the genius kid. The Holdovers looks at the genius kid, the bitter teacher, and the grieving cook and says: none of you are special, you’re just stuck, and stuck is where actual people live. Alexander Payne did that on purpose. Respectfully, most comfort movies are cowards. Da’Vine Joy Randolph doesn’t steal The Holdovers. She holds the floor while everyone else performs their loneliness. The scene where she says her son is gone and the room has to sit with it is the best acting of 2023. No speech. No score swell. Just a woman who already knows the ending. ⭐Synopsis: A classics teacher, a delinquent, and a cafeteria manager are trapped at a prep school over Christmas. By New Year they’ve committed the only crime that still matters in a Payne movie: they told the truth once and couldn’t take it back. Five stars. Bring tissues and a grudge against your family group chat.

Philip felt guilty about what they did to the mermaid, so he took care of her throughout the whole journey but something unexpected happened thereafter and the guilt returned all over again.

Top is the Thunderbolts field team. Only Bucky and Red Guardian are serum level. Bottom is the alley Turtles, and shells stop the guns once Mikey closes the gap. Who controls it if it starts in that street?

If it were you, would you be willing to lend a hand?

Christa Pike was supposed to become the first woman executed by Tennessee in more than 200 years. Instead, something happened that has put her case back at the center of the news. On Wednesday, Tennessee attempted to execute Pike by lethal injection for the 1995 murder of 19 year old Colleen Slemmer. But according to witnesses, officials administered two doses of the lethal drug and still could not complete the execution. Pike remained alive and was taken from the prison by ambulance. The attempt came hours after the U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for Tennessee to proceed, overturning a last minute stay. Now the biggest question is what happens next after an execution that never actually happened. Was this a medical failure, or could it trigger another legal battle?

Hollow Knight in Fortnite is the kind of crossover that would’ve sounded completely ridiculous a few years ago. You’ve got this tiny, silent warrior from one of gaming’s darkest worlds now casually existing on the same island as Freddy Fazbear, superheroes, horror icons and whatever else Fortnite decides to throw into the universe next. And somehow, the Knight doesn’t even look out of place.
