@martianwyrdlord As an Albertan seperatist, anybody thinking its the answer to this particular problem is a damn fool. I'm hopeful however, if we adopt a non-parliamentary system (Bruce Pardy speaks highly of the Swiss system), we'd be able to also have alternative parties to push these issues.

@FortySacks I'm still going to argue that although the west does have historical ties to Canada proper, enough of the English population came straight from the isles or from the usa, that its not a strong tie. The BC interior has more people from who descend from the east (and Quebec)

The figure we know as "JD Vance" was likely a historic person only in the sense that King Arthur was.
