@geoff_bosco @MrMrsTrumpet Well, there hasn't been a physical temple to make sacrifices in since 70 AD... ... Or, perhaps our own bodies are the Temple. It's not about "renegotiation", as it is the revealed spiritual fullness of a process that was once a shadow. The Law has not changed.

@PrayPuffPlay @TheSeanEsposito What has NOT changed, is God's Law. The Levitical Priesthood was always a temporary measure for dealing with the Israelites specifically after the Golden Calf incident. But prior to that, every Patriarch followed under the Melchizedek Priestly Order.

@PrayPuffPlay @TheSeanEsposito "Covenant" in that verse is actually an insertion; it's not in the original Greek, see also Hebrews 9:1 and 18. It's actually speaking of the Priesthood; what was obsolete was the Levitical one. We're now back under the Order of Melchizedek, with a permanent High Priest.
