Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of America’s key institutions—it gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent decision, it’s time to redouble our efforts.

So, if you’re looking for ways to help right now, here are some organizations doing important work: barackobama.medium.com/our-statements…
@BarackObama While affirmative action may not be a comprehensive solution, it undeniably provides opportunities for generations of students who have been historically marginalised. It allows talented individuals to showcase their abilities and contribute to building a more inclusive society.
@BarackObama You bombed thousands of innocent brown people with drone strikes and you have the audacity to comment on racism ?
Now black kids will have the same exact chance as white kids and Asian kids. It's so weird that yall are upset that you're not throwing a bone and given a boost in every opportunity. We live in an equal society. Now is 2023. If you do the same work and you get the same scores, they'll get into the same college and they can't discriminate it based on race, and they also can't bring in people just because they're white either. So it's a win Win, right?
@BarackObama That’s what equal opportunity laws were put in place for.
You’re a product of reverse racial discrimination, so of course you agree with it. Any policy that to robs Peter to pay Paul will always have Paul’s support. What did affirmative action buy our society in the case of you and Michelle? A colorblind future? Far from it. The two of you developed an obsession with race that infected the nation and poisoned our discourse with ethnic strife. Finally, our county can return to a state where merit is more important than skin color… but only after a generation of unqualified diversity hires is flushed from the system, along with their unending grudges, insecurities, and toxic politics.
