@BBCNewsnight What a heart breaking story what amazing parents so eloquent in the face of such horrible treatment
@BBCNewsnight #newsnight Beyond awful…this arguably keys into professional divisions - medical / nursing / midwifery -cultural issues and conflicts….as suggested but not yet fully set out or confirmed in the Lucy Letby case.
@BBCNewsnight I’m so sorry. This is heartbreaking and utter appalling.
@BBCNewsnight Terrible So sorry for Harriet, Sarah and Jack that this happened and that issues appear to be widespread It’s frightening We must do better than this
@BBCNewsnight I trusted them - so many times families put their trust and belief in the skills and experience of staff. Have heard these tragic stories so often - especially that they have had to search for answers. Time to really listen and learn
@BBCNewsnight .Such an avoidable tragedy 💔- should all phone calls to maternity units be reviewed by senior clinicians- repeat phone calls should be a red flag
@BBCNewsnight Very moving and sad to hear about Sarah's dreadful experience. Must be so hard to speak out about this and have to relieve the experience but so good to try to help others avoid the same thing happening to them.
@BBCNewsnight Breaks my heart. 💔 So proud of you both and I know Harriet would be. Sending you love. xxx
