@BBCAfrica Most African courts are on life support. Nigeria is not different from Uganda!
@BBCAfrica Yes its full of dramas court shouldn't a have take him serious 😂😅
@BBCAfrica Peter obi will always be a looser 😈
The decisions of the Court are based on our laws, evidence tendered by the parties, ability and inability of parties to prove their cases. It’s a commonplace that at the heart of the judicial process rests the principle that judgments must be grounded in admissible and pertinent evidence presented during court proceedings. Judges are bound by duty to meticulously assess the facts, testimonies, documents, and expert opinions submitted by the parties involved in the case.in this Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, the Court was seen to have discharged its responsibility as stated here. The law mandates judges to scrutinize the evidence and apply legal principles to reach conclusions that embody justice and fairness. This emphasis on evidence serves as a bulwark against arbitrary or prejudiced decisions. The opposition parties were unable to prove their allegations and could not secure favorable judgement from the Court. It is therefore pertinent to all parties to unite for the interest of the nation and her people.
Even BBC is reporting poorly. It was not an appeal that PO lodged. It was an Election Petition lodged at the Tribunal of first instance which in a Presidential election is the Court of Appeal. An appeal implies that there was an earlier decision that he is not satisfied with. Gosh!
@BBCAfrica Congratulations to the tribunal, they did not throw away Peter Obi’s petition they actually destroyed the constitution of Nigeria.
