Eglin AFB Pilot Likely Saw A Lighting Balloon, Not A UFO Pentagon Concludes The high-profile incident over the Gulf of Mexico included a strange craft with an even stranger infrared signature. Story: twz.com/air/eglin-afb-…
@Aviation_Intel What do you make of the conclusion that the systems failures experienced at the same time were coincidental? The determination of there being nothing “anomalous” about the encounter seems to hinge on it.
@Aviation_Intel Tyler. Next time just use this in your heading, it needs nothing else. ‘Bollox!’
@Aviation_Intel @alejandrotrojas If it was actually a known enemy aircraft they encountered, and the radar malfunctioned, I guarantee there’d be no suggestion at all of a coincidence.
@Aviation_Intel This makes perfect sense ... Thanks for the article!
@Aviation_Intel Then I'm sure they wont have a problem showing us the data and cell phone video. And explain why they blocked Congress from talking to the pilot.
@Aviation_Intel Both of the 2 sole companies who have these in the US say they’ve never lost a balloon.
@Aviation_Intel Possibly a soap bubble.
@Aviation_Intel AARO said no video could be taken. But the Air Force reportedly previously said there was video. Unless that was a misstatement, then who do we believe? The 2 images in the AARO update do look a lot like the photo of the lighted balloon, but not so much the pilot’s sketch. 🤷♂️
