Many #parents must use a walking harness to prevent their #children from wandering off & getting lost or something potentially happening. We shouldn't judge why a parent uses a #walking harness for their child. For parents, their children's #safety & #Wellbeing is a top priority
@Author_S_Miller @toobsy22 Children with autism often try to elope. Parents have to do what they can to keep them safe.
@Author_S_Miller @toobsy22 Absolutely, I had to do this and I got awful looks! Better than my child being taken!
@Author_S_Miller I used a walking harness for my youngest. It allowed her freedom to walk around without her arm being in an uncomfortable position. She's now 54 and turned out just fine!
@Author_S_Miller Agree, although I have seen a parent yank their kid right into a pole at the mall. Didn't even know as he was behind them. It's all about how ot is used for me.
@Author_S_Miller I used one with my son once in awhile as he liked to wander off. He grew up fine.
