وزارت خارجه استرالیا در پاسخ اختصاصی به ایران‌اینترنشنال در خصوص حکم اعدام توماج صالحی و سرکوب زنان در ایران، اعلام کرد: «استفاده روزافزون جمهوری اسلامی از مجازات اعدام، از جمله علیه مخالفان سیاسی را محکوم می‌کنیم و همچنین از سرکوب مداوم زنان و دختران توسط حکومت نگرانیم.»
