Some emphasize social justice and minimize God's moral law. Others emphasize upholding God's moral law while minimizing social justice. Micah 6:8 reminds us that we are to obey God's law by allowing his word to define our morality and pursue mercy and justice in society.

Worshiping God involves maintaining the balance between God's justice and forgiveness, his anger toward sin, and his compassion toward those who repent and turn to him. In our sin, we are confronted with a God of justice, but in our faith, we see the love and mercy of God.

In our ministry in the church, in whatever capacity, focus on faithfulness in service rather than success. If our focus is on success, it made lead us down a path where we are successful in the eyes of men but not in the eyes of God.

God's faithfulness never ends and continues for eternity, and it has no limits that can be reached. God’s compassion never gets old, never wears out, or diminishes in any way. Every day his lovingkindness and faithfulness are just as genuine and present as before.

Wisdom begins when we acknowledge the folly of our own moral compass. Wisdom is not found by looking inward but by looking upward. We start the journey towards understanding when we realize that knowledge is found in God and his word.
