"Many IMG doctors in LED posts have tolerated limited progression and insecure conditions in the hope of eventually securing training posts. If these individuals decide to move away the UK because of the removal of training options, the NHS will struggle to fill workforce gaps and vacancies" That is the fact- however silent @RCPhysicians @gmcuk stay on this Or the @TheBMA rowing back their own agreements on looking after IMGs already here. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to this important report and are pleased it recognises the issues all too common to our members - workloads are increasing and the need to balance service delivery with training opportunities is a difficult balance to get right. We are ready to be involved in Phase Two of the project when it launches in January and to make sure the needs of our members are represented throughout the process.
