We all love an Alan Shearer, a Les Ferdinand or a Supermac and so on but who is your favourite out-of-the-limelight player? You know the dependable player who is great but hasn't the 'name value?' 🤔 Maybe it's just me but I've always championed these players over the years, as well as our legendary players. To name a few for me Aaron Hughes, Temur Ketsbaia, Warren Barton, Nikos Dabizas, Stephen Glass, Lee Clark, David Batty - each of which when my mates were getting another Alan Shearer top printed I'd be the only one asking for their shirt printing instead down 'Spenny Sports' back in the day as a youngster (Kudos to anyone who knows of that shop!) or up at the club shop as I grew older. @Magpie24_7 Coloccini, I remember that the jury was out on him at the beginning. But he never gave up, stayed with us when we went down, became the club captain, and you could tell he played his heart out for Newcastle.

@terryflewers Owen wasn't a Newcastle player when Bobby Robson was in charge? He joined when Souness was the manager. So for him to comment on this as if it's first hand account is complete fabrication. Shearer never once went on strike at Newcastle, Isak did. Complete trash talk.

@SkySports_Keith Bridges are burnt though Keith. His actions throughout the summer speak louder than any half generic post that he probably didn't even right. I dont agree with what Wissa did but he at least said on camera what he feels about Brentford Fans.
