@LACASCABELVY Gods, you’re shameless. Wakey-wakey, back to the fortunate reality where none of that has happened.

It’s rare that I find service genuinely worthy of praise in Manhattan, but the Baroness continues to exceed expectations. I’ll admit, it was one of the few things I actually missed while spending the summer back in Ixia.

Gods, that’s a fantastic drawing of me! I appreciate it! And if being exceptionally talented is evil, then I suppose I’m guilty as charged.

Another honor roll pin for the blazer, and another breakfast with the Headmaster this term. Expected, naturally, and the food was superb as always. But my ambitions are considerably higher this term, and I intend to surpass myself.

@TheDynamoTheory Then I think you owe her the truth, professor. Devotion without honesty seems rather pointless to me.

@prefersthedead That’s hilarious! People tend to resent what they can’t understand, so I can’t fault you for finding excellence confusing.

@prefersthedead Someone exceptionally bright, diligent, and competent, who had the misfortune of being assigned as your lab partner, I assume?

You’d be surprised how many of them turned out to be spoiled, self-important disappointments. A select few are respectable, by human standards. Needless to say, I won’t be counted among the mediocre. Blackmore will be grateful I ever graced its halls.

My opponent demanded a rematch after losing, lost again, then became so incensed he broke his locker door. I couldn’t help but laugh. What exactly did he expect? Is it really so difficult to admit that you’re simply outmatched?
