Between 2009-2022, the number of small businesses receiving government contracts fell nearly 49%. Just in 2015 alone 44% of the government procurement budget was paid to contracts drawing only one bid. There is massive opportunity for SMB owners who are willing to put in the work

Most #SMB owners search by location when deciding which government entity to target. That's fine but keep in mind which have good or bad small biz contracting goals. The #SBA and #USDA try to award >50% to SB, #USDOE and #USAID have <15% targets. This matters more than you think.
