Have the pencil test of the Part of Your World number from The Little Mermaid. The song was what convinced Glen Keane to animate Ariel for the film whom he's called his favorite character he's animated and he animated her entirely for this entire scene. Such incredible work.

Have some concept art of Earth-65 (Gwen's World) from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse by Dean Gordon. I absolutely love the colors of this world and I can see how they used the look of Cinderella as inspiration for the pinks, purples, and greens.

I don't know what's more astonishing about the iconic ballroom shot from Beauty and the Beast. The fact that James Baxter did this entire shot by himself or the fact he was just 24 when animated it. Either way, it is just incredible to watch every single time.

Netflix has announced that they will be showing off sneak previews of some of their animated films at Annecy including the world premiere of Ultraman Rising as well as first looks at the new Wallace and Gromit film, The Twits, and That Christmas. I'm very excited to see them!

I am so happy to be living in a world where The Boy and the Heron was not only critically successful and won an Oscar, but also was financially successful with people going to see Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece in theaters.

It really makes me so upset and angry seeing so many promising animated films get scrapped this decade, mainly due to studio incompetence. It's been so disheartening to see as someone who wanted to see them and I just hope this stops and that these projects find happy endings.

It's absolutely disgusting that this man and his cronies continue to receive more money despite the horrible actions they've made during the company and it really makes me angry that he got this much money last year when actors and writers were on strike. Absolutely infuriating.

I got to check out Spy X Family: Code White and I thought it was a total blast. It has a lot of the fun you would expect from the show and is filled with some cool action, hilarious hijinks, and amazing animation. Definitely worth checking out.

Paramount has released the first trailer for Transformers One. Overall, I do really like the animation from what I've seen though I'm not entirely sure about the writing quite yet. Hopefully, it's just the way the trailer was edited so we'll see how this plays out in September.

Jorge Gutiérrez has revealed that Netflix will no longer be making the animated film I, Chihuahua and that the film will be shopped around to other studios. It's really upsetting to see Netflix continue to cancel projects, but I hope this film gets picked up by a new studio soon.

Studio Ghibli will be receiving an honorary Palme d’Or this year at the Cannes Film Festival making it the first time the award has been given to a group. Considering the legendary animated films they've made and the impact to filmmaking, this is a well deserved honor.

Warner Bros Pictures Animation has announced they are making an animated film based on Meerkat Manor. The film will also be produced by Seth Green and Tracy Falco. This isn't the first time Warner Bros has tried to make a meerkat animated film so we'll see how this turns out.

It was revealed that Bong Joon Ho's upcoming animated film about deep sea creatures will have Werner Herzog as part of the cast and will also be hand drawn as well. I was already hyped for this film, but hearing that it will be hand drawn has me even more excited than before!

Netflix just dropped the first trailer of Thelma the Unicorn and so far, it does look really cute and charming. I can definitely see the humor of both Aaron Blabey and Jared Hess shining through with this one and I hope it turns out as good as it looks.
