Did you know that 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage? Did you know that most insurance won't cover testing to find out why until 3 miscarriages? Did you know that a D&C (medical abortion) can tell patients why a pregnancy wasn't viable? Abortion care is Infertility care.
This is because a D&C can collect tissue and send it off for testing. Most pregnancies fail due to chromosomal abnormalities. Women with a history of miscarriage will choose to have an elective abortion if HCG levels aren't coming back in normal ranges rather than sit at home.
@AngelOfTheOzark I know you know that one in four women will experience sexual assault at least once in their lifetime. Seems relevant
@AngelOfTheOzark Sadly, I suspect the miscarriage rate is higher in Missouri. I don't know whether it is tracked. However, we're very close to winning both the maternal and the infant death rates.
@AngelOfTheOzark My mom lost 7 babies before I was born. She worked for North American Aviation, which manufactured bombers, as a payroll supervisor. She married later in life. I was born when Mom was 39 and Dad was 41. She underwent a back room abortion with her 1st husband during WWII.
