Scoop: Rep. Cori Bush won't commit to voting for Biden in Missouri's March 23 primary. "How we save our democracy is by listening to ... the voters and the more than 70% of Democrats saying they want a ceasefire." @axios axios.com/2024/03/07/pro…
@AndrewSolender @axios More than 70% of voters don’t want Biden to run for re-election.
@AndrewSolender @axios Biden is getting more then 70% of the vote in the primaries so far. Also he isn't the head of Hamas, nor is he the president of Israel. I hope everyone sees through this fake nonsense.
@AndrewSolender @axios Cori Bush probably cares more about Gaza than any other person who has no idea on what continent Gaza is actually located. In fairness, the question has never occurred to her, anymore than my cat has ever wondered about algebra.
Serious question… if you happen to know the answer: does the party of an incumbent President who happens to be running for re-election typically expect that EVERY elected member of their party is automatically going to vote for him or her? Is that even a reasonable expectation? Would Rep. Cori Bush be ostracized by her own party if she doesn’t vote for Biden in her state’s Primary? Would that be FAIR?
@AndrewSolender @axios This woman, tragic as her story is, should not be in Congress.
@AndrewSolender @axios Well, that number is a bit misleading. Yes, they may want a ceasefire - but HOW that happens is another thing entirely.
@AndrewSolender @axios Cori Bush is going to find herself out of a job
@AndrewSolender @axios Biden and his administration has been working hard for a ceasefire. His also president of the US, not Israel.
