So, if Emin or İlsu block you; maybe before playing the victim, you should ask yourself one very simple question: Did you cross the line? Because I keep seeing things like BDA said; “she blocked me because of that comment.” No, girl. She didn’t block you because of that comment. If it really had been only because of that comment, then she would have had to block the other 980+ people who wrote exactly the same thing. And clearly, that didn’t happen. Maybe that comment was simply the last straw, after four straight days of saying an endless amount of bullshit. Because let’s be honest: over the past few days, you’ve said all kinds of things. Constant comments, insinuations, provocations, judging everything they do, making up interpretations and turning everything into an argument from morning until night. And then; when the block comes, suddenly: “I didn’t do anything.” “She blocked me because of one comment.” NO: THAT’S NOT HOW IT WORKS. She didn’t block you because you wrote one single sentence. She blocked you because you spent days constantly crossing the line, until you apparently reached the point where she had simply had enough. And first of all, let’s remember something: Emin and İlsu are normal people, just like the rest of us. Yes, they are public figures. Yes, they have an audience. Yes, they share parts of their lives with the people who follow them. But that does NOT mean they have to accept absolutely everything people say about them. Being famous doesn’t mean you stop having feelings, patience, boundaries, or the right to say enough. It doesn’t mean they have to sit there every day reading accusations, insinuations, provocations and ridiculous comments without ever reacting. They have every right to say ENOUGH. And they also have every right to block someone if they simply don’t want to read what that person writes anymore. The thing that makes me laugh the most, though, is how some people almost seem to turn being blocked into a badge of honor. “I GOT BLOCKED!” Yes, sweetheart. It’s not an award. 😂 There’s really nothing to brag about. And most importantly, stop trying to create this whole narrative that you were blocked exclusively because of one comment when, for four days straight, you’ve been saying whatever comes into your head. Because a block can simply be the result of a buildup of behavior, not necessarily one single sentence. So instead of hiding behind: “She blocked me because of that comment.” ...at least have the honesty to say: “Maybe I went too far.” Because it’s much easier to blame one single comment than to admit that you spent days constantly crossing boundaries. And I’ll say it again: Emin and İlsu are NOT obligated to put up with everything just because they are famous. They don’t have to accept every behavior. They don’t have to respond to everyone. They don’t have to explain every block. And most importantly, they don’t have to allow anyone to disrespect them. So before pointing your finger at them and saying:“She blocked me for no reason.” ...ask yourself one question: “Am I really sure I didn’t cross the line over the past few days?” Because maybe the problem wasn’t that comment. ...maybe the problem was everything you said before it. And after four days of saying bullshit from morning until night, maybe you shouldn’t be that surprised when someone finally decides to simply press BLOCK. That’s it. You weren’t blocked because you expressed an opinion. You were blocked because you kept crossing the line. #Arafta #İlsuDemirci #EminGünenç
