For Sarah and her daughter, $10-a-day child care is life-changing. Now, we're growing and expanding our affordable child care plan so more parents can find a space, enroll their child, and save money.
@JustinTrudeau This person is clearly living in a $2 million dollar dwelling (not an exaggeration by the looks of things and the state of the Canadian housing bubble/crisis!). And we're supposed to subsidize their daycare so they have extra money for RESPs and hockey?
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau I was going to comment on eligibility criteria but I wasn’t sure if there was any, literally based on what’s going on in this promo.
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau My thoughts exactly. She is not hurting. So this is what our hard earned tax dollars are supporting? Well off people? This makes me not happy at all.
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau Looks like a movie set
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau Unironically, yes. The reality is that liberal and conservative politics are for the upper middle class. But in this case it’ll also help the lower classes as well.
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau You’re still not amazing 😂🤡
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau I don't think they're in her house. That looks (and sounds) like a café or posh rec centre or something.
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau I know right? As a single full time working mother of two boys…this $10 day care thing helps no one and screws everyone. Kids are in daycare for maybe 2-3 short ass years….then school. I never needed daycare or wanted to send my kid to daycare. I took care of them and worked
@AmazingZoltan @JustinTrudeau Subsidized daycare incentives people to have more kids while also getting them into the workforce. Both are instrumental for sustaining our country. For every $1 spent, the economy gets $2+ back.
