In 2022 when NZ was experiencing widespread Covid-19 cases for the first time, an internal NZ Government memo (later OIA'd) included a graph of Covid-19 case rates by occupation. Teaching was at the top of the ranking. Link to the full memo: fyi.org.nz/request/20877/… 2/5

@AmandaKvalsvig Well, Union, get informed about protections against airborne infection and force schools to implement them. Many teachers are anti-protection, so you have a job on your hands. Actually, most of society is anti-protection. But protections are possible if people decide to do them.
