Our U14 and U16 #tennis teams competed in the @the_LTA Regional Finals. The U14s won and will represent the North at the National Finals in Bolton this weekend, as one of the top four schools in the country. The U16s finished as runners-up to Merchiston Castle. @mgs_1515

A group of @mgs_1515 #tennis players had the opportunity to watch #TeamGB ahead of the @DavisCup in recognition of fundraising efforts for @BItennischarity. They met former world No. 1 doubles player @nealskupski and are looking forward to Sunday, when Team GB will face Canada.

Pako and her family are originally from Egypt and came to the UK when she was 6. She spoke some English already but her first language is Arabic - she remembers people commenting on her accent. She trains three times a week and is ranked 12th in the UK for women’s under 20

MGS #Fencing Club took 10 @mgs_1515 pupils to compete in Liverpool. Year 11 pupil Riccardo won a second Bronze medal. It was great to see three pupils in their first competition; year 11 Jonathan in U17 epee; year 8 Josh in Sabre and year 7 Rasbir who only started in September!
