@WaterShuriken_ Early gens did TMs better because they could give you more powerful stuff early on. Ice Beam was easily accessible in early gens, then when Gen 5 made them unlimited use, they stuck it in Kyurem's lair. Gen5 system is good for longevity, but it hurts the main story gameplay.

Reading "Under the Dome" by Stephen King, and at the beginning I was like "haha so this is what The Simpsons Movie was spoofing" only to find out that movie predates this book by 2 years

September reads (I forgot to take the pic). A much more casual month compared to the prior, but still enjoyed most everything I read.

August reads are in. Each from a different genre, different country even, but each with plenty to offer. The highlight was Vincent Yu's Seek Immediate Shelter. It ended up being such a fun bookclub discussion. It's a shame I'm working during his author event near me.

Genshin Impact @GenshinImpact

Happy Birthday, Freminet! #GenshinImpact #Freminet Um... Who is it? J—Just a moment, I'm coming... Huh? Flowers and gifts... This kind of surprise feels like something Lyney would come up with. It was his idea, wasn't it? If I'm right, then this "magic surprise" probably isn't over yet... Anyway... come in. I'll make you some tea.
