Because Minn has more ammunition to get ahead of Denver. If New England takes a QB at 3, Minn will outbid Denver for 4 or 5. If NE trades 3, Minnesota will outbid Denver. The only scenario in which Den winds up with one of those 4 QBs is if Minn trades to 3, and Den trades to 4

@AllbrightNFL Or the QB Minnesota wants (JJ) gets picked at 2 and they no longer want to trade up
@AllbrightNFL ESPN new mock draft has Denver trading up to #4 and taking JJ McCarthy thoughts?
@AllbrightNFL Minnesota has more ammo through draft capital but PS2 trumps that if Sean wants his guy and they use PS2 in the trade. Not saying I want to trade off PS2 but elite corner's are not as valuable as starting QB's with the possibility of a franchise label.
@AllbrightNFL Broncos have the same capital 49ers had to move from 12 to 3 for Trey Lance. Not saying they should... but would Minnesota outbid them if the Broncos really wanted to go "all in" like that?
