For government employees with weekend offs, the impact is limited. But for Pakistan’s private-sector workforce, this effectively cuts short the final day of Eid celebrations. A respectful appeal to the Government of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Religious Affairs to review the notification and consider extending facilitation for the private sector as well.
