Guys, I have a very specific shopping need: what is a very stylish extremely low profile but still comfortable sneaker, I simply cannot with these chunky-ass sneakers, please give me a cool non giant sneaker with decent arch support
@ambernoelle Do what I did. A pair of white leather Chuck Taylors, rip out the insoles and put in your orthotic of choice.
@AlexPalombo @ambernoelle Yep. I’m all about the leather slip on sneakers now. Can wear to work. I have a Clark’s brand but there is a Dr. Scholls version that’s comfortable too.
@AlexPalombo @ambernoelle Same idea but I love keds!
@AlexPalombo @ambernoelle Came to say the same. I’ll add that using a great stain treatment overnight and a toothbrush for scrubbing then washing in the machine and drying outside or over an AC/heat vent, can give you years with one pair of *fabric* Chucks.
@AlexPalombo @ambernoelle Yes Converse also has an updated more supportive Chuck that might be worth a try. Ive been wearing Nike Pegasus Zoom since a friend with similar foot pain to me suggested them, they are expensive and this years model didn’t fit me well so I had to return it.
