@AlexLuck9 Quite the contrary: the Brazilian requested for nuclear propulsion in their tender and French Naval Group (then DCNS) made it explicit in their final bid that they only proposed classic propulsion: any development on nuclear prop would have to be strictly Brazilian
@ElieTenenbaum The French assistance training relevant staff and providing ToT on the parts of the SSN design not directly related to the reactor or fuel cycle is crucial to the entire effort. Put another way, without this work all you have is a reactor, nothing else.
@AlexLuck9 Yup but the other way around is also true w/o the reactor - and human skills and industrial facility to support it - you you don’t have an SSN. I doubt 🇫🇷 would have moved to support 🇧🇷 on reactor w/o AUKUS precedent
