W14 was such a bad car. No improvements from 2022. Small window, no downforce on fast corners, instabilty on slow corners. All these problems forced LH to change his style. Merc peak was barely than the AM and mclaren peaks of performance and Ferrari was superior almost all year

Debunking some myths about Hamilton "Hamilton always had the best car" Lewis never had truly the best car during his whole mclaren stint. They were competitive in 2007-08, mediocre in 2009,half decent in 2010, decent in 2011-12.
@MavrckAlo Consistency doesn't mean everything. Ferrari was in term of performance more consistent but not really in reliability What is sure is that from 2022 to 23 AM,RB,Ferrari, MCL all improved their car but not Mercedes
@FarisAlonso No man you got different opinions on how red bull, mclaren or even Lotus were the best car of the year. Red bull was the best from valencia to the end and mclaren was close behind coz they were not as consistent. You didnt watched that season

"Mclaren 2007-08 was unbeatable on the wet". This one I heard it for more than a decade. Yeah the advantages of the mclaren was always in the damp, wet and cold sessions but it was known from mclaren engineers that this advantage didnt existed in the full wet conditions
A car like this is never the ideal to race because the car will not be reactive enough for a w2w battle/traffic. So Hamilton went for a more strategic mind to make his moves which he mastered that technique. But in a shorter car you can see how incredible he is on w2w.
