@ryan_san @pandem1cleo @Dfajaredtriolo These people unironically want to force players to sign in places they dont want to. People think the Dodgers get all the talemt just cuz of money but fail to accept that some organizations (Pitt and Cinci for example) just fucking suck

@ryan_san @Dfajaredtriolo So a salary cap doesnt actually do anything then?

@pandem1cleo @Dfajaredtriolo @ryan_san I think the Pirates and other teams would actually be able to afford big players or at minimum keep their own Half the Dodgers roster isn't there if the player original teams actually paid them or didnt trade them to LA. But yeah im sure teams spending 70mil a year wanna win

@pandem1cleo @Dfajaredtriolo @ryan_san I firmly believe those teams would attract more talent if they actually tried to aquire them

@pandem1cleo @Dfajaredtriolo @ryan_san Well seems to me that theres equal opportunity for every team in the MLB too Again, yall hide behind this idea of parity but yall just straight up dont want NY or LA winning. You'd be fine with the same team winning yearly as long as its KC or Denver.

@Dfajaredtriolo @ryan_san Except the NFL has WAY less parity than the MLB. Its unironically the exact same issue but because the teams winning arent from LA or New York yall give it a pass

Then theres the issue that Salary cap also produces a contract length cap Baseball is already a sport were players move around alot. The moment you kill these 5-7 year deals say goodbye to a team keeping a star player for more than 3 years.

Becuase all a cap does is make more owners money while overall in the long run suppressing player wages. Yall think it'll boost player wages and in the short term it will but in the long term get ready for Pre Arb manipulation like youve never seen before.

Genuinley asking for those who can give me a good answer: why is it so wrong for MLB to have a cap/floor system like other major North American sports leagues? Other players in those leagues still seem to get paid pretty well.

@SlothDamage Metro 2033s "Good Ending" never made sense and personally I think Last Light's is equally as convoluted.
