Ninety per cent of human brain development happens in the first 5 years of life. That’s why investing in early education is so important. We’re delivering cheaper child care to give Australian children the very best start in life.
It will make a big difference for our littlest Australians, their families and the economy. And it starts in 100 days.
@AlboMP This may seem a strange idea - but what if the best child care and early education is provided by parents? The very best start in life that most children can have is a loving mother and father who provide for, educate and love their children. The State as parent never works.
@AlboMP Why not just add an hourly rate to the aged pension so grandparents can look after the kids? They don't need police checks, they can pass on language and culture, they won't charge $600/wk and most could do with more money, given the rising cost of living. Too obvious?
@AlboMP So why would govermental indocrination be better than proper parental care in those early years? Family disruption and division? Labor always dividing.
@AlboMP The first five years of their life should be spent with their family where they can feel loved and safety.
@AlboMP The ‘best start’ in life begins when children and parents are together. Why is the government so keen to start ‘educating’ children at younger ages?
@AlboMP No, you shouldn't be putting State ahead of Mothers and Fathers raising their children.
@AlboMP So you would think cleaning up the air around #schools be encouraging #Evs would be a high priority, as we know vehicle exhaust #pollution is a significant contributor to reduce development in #children.
