Never really understood the 'Allah will bring victory to the Muslims when we fix our Aqeedah crowd. This Hadith really refutes this argument. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, no one will enter Paradise but a soul submissive to Allah, yet Allah may support this religion by the hands of a wicked man.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3062, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 111 If we look at history many times Allah swt has brought victory and nusrah through men with corrupt Aqeedah. Al-Mu'tasim, a mu'tazili at the battle of Al-Amurriya Alp Arsalan, a maturidi hanafi at the battle of Manzikert Salahudin Al-Ayyubi, a shafii ashari during the reconquest of Jerusalem and the third crusade Mehmed Faith, a maturidi hanafi, at the conquest of Constantinople Suleyman the Magnificent, during the conquest of Hungary. The Hanafi maturidi Mughals during their conquests of India. And many other times throughout history where people in the wrong Aqeedah brought about victory from Allah swt. Their argumentation on Aqeedah is not from a place of love for Aqeedah, but out of a place of defeatism for the ummah.
@AhmedTayy So Hanafi-Maturidi are deviants?
Indeed. When the Sassanids defeated the Byzantines, the believers grieved. Allah acknowledged their sentiment and consoled them in His Book. So if it was praiseworthy for believers to cheer for one party of disbelievers against another enemy who were even more astray, then how is it not praiseworthy to cheer for one's fellow Muslims, along with their errors, against the worst of the accursed enemy!
@AhmedTayy Sahih hadith: about the army that would conquest Constantinople- What a wonderful army it would be, and what a wonderful leader they will have. Man u r deviant, mend ur aqidah, stop calling heroes of Islam as deviants. Every major mujahid in 1400 yrs were ashari, sufi
@AhmedTayy I don't even know how it make sense for them, do they actually think that when every single muslim on planet earth has correct aqeeda than muslim will win lol
@AhmedTayy لا حول ولا قوة الا بالله But subhanallah allah never let the correct aqeedah to do something for the ummah? What even is this analogy
@AhmedTayy I mean the thing is... as far as I'm aware there are always going to be deviant groups and deviancy until I guess maybe when Imam Mahdi arrives. So the logical outcome of this teaching seems to be that we will just never resist ever.
@AhmedTayy Criticism of the Maturidi and the Ash'ari predecessors is a bit rich when it comes from an Athari who have, respectfully, throughout their entire history never remotely done anything to protect the Ummah against the Disbelievers nor promote practical Islamic expansion.
