Multi-Agent research AI that searches your papers, and generate citation backed editable mindmaps where every claim traces to the source.agentbayes.comJoined May 2026
@RoundtableSpace Very nice, it can also be optimized to run as a 2nd step, only on pages that actually needs it. Such approach can be specified in a skill though.
@rohanpaul_ai@drfeifei Humans can work years on the same problem. Give this ability to current-level AI and you'll see new methods developed, new insights generated and new knowledge accumulated. And you can accelerate that with the ability of scaling the number of minds that you put on a given task.
Researchers don't have a reading problem. They have a synthesis problem: you can hold 200 papers in your hands and still not know where the field actually stands.
@Fortencrantz AI didn't break research. Using it to fabricate instead of to verify did. Generating plausible text and grounding a claim in a real source are opposite jobs, and the field keeps confusing the first for the second.
@sfmcguire79 Two fabricated cases in a court filing is just "the AI cited it, so I shipped it" meeting a judge. A citation you can't open and read isn't a citation, it's a guess with a number on it. That gap is the whole reason Agent Bayes exists.
@ChrisCarothers@AramHur@koreaobserver Six fabricated citations cleared review because verifying each one is annoying enough that nobody did. Not the AI that worries me. The skipped step does.
Smart move. The interesting part won’t be "students now have AI," because they already do.
It’ll be whether the university teaches people how to use it well: source checking, reasoning with evidence, privacy, limits, and when not to use it.
Access is easy. Literacy is the real rollout.
🚀 New Feature 🚀 AI Verification lets you ask the agent to assess how well an individual mindmap node is supported by its citations — and to generate alternative ways of phrasing the same claim in four different tones => check it out! agentbayes.com
🚀 New Feature 🚀The Terminology Graph Explorer is an interactive map of the domain-specific terminology inside a knowledge base. It shows which concepts appear across your documents and how they co-occur — which pairs of terms tend to be discussed together, and how strongly => check it out! agentbayes.com
@KyleSiler@PNASNews Great work! It would be interesting to test citation provenance across articles. Our tool does that, if you provide it with the paper and all of it's bibliography.
A literature review is not a list of what people said. It is a map of where they agree, where they disagree, and where nobody has looked yet.

Great distinction between AI that offloads thinking and AI that sharpens it. Your point about OneTutor is exactly right, RAG based tools that tie back to actual sources keep the student in control. Same applies to research. If the AI provides strict citation provenance and the researcher verifies every claim, the work ends up more rigorous, not less.
