Over the last 5 years, we've basically been doing nothing but recording firearms for our flagship Sound Effects Library The Master Gun Armory Bundle. For the Armory Bundle we've recorded well over 30 Pistols, 42 SMGs, 20 Shotguns, 23 Sniper Rifles, 111 Rifles, 21 DMRs, 5 Anti-Material Rifles, 21 LMGs, 10 MGs, & 3 HMGs of which over 25% have suppressed versions. Good afternoon it has been a very long year of work on this project but we are very excited to finally announce that Master Gun is now included in @audiokinetic's Strata library. I have been a massive fan of Strata when they first launched a few years ago. I first saw it as a great learning tool where you get to breakdown and pick through a sound designers project and learn how creatures, weapons, ambiances, & many more finished designed sounds are processed, but this collection is WAY more than that. It is a workflow that seamlessly integrates with WWise making game audio a breeze. If you are curious we would love it if you can checkout the project. Hello everyone. The Master Gun Armory Bundle has seen some explosive growth over its very short 3 year development. This bundle currently includes 227 deep sampled firearms, is over 450GB in size, and contains more than 150,000 sound effects making this bundle the worlds largest publicly available firearms sound effects library in the world, and we aren’t stopping there. We currently have 47 unreleased libraries bringing the soon to be total to 274 firearm Sound Effects Libraries. Anyone who currently owns the Armory Bundle will receive these libraries for free (See a full list of new libraries here, posters are coming soon). There will be a lot more libraries after this. With all this exciting news, it was inevitable that we would have to increase the price of the Armory Bundle. We tried to put this off as long as possible to give everyone a chance to take advantage of the free updates, but effective December 31st 2025 we will be increasing the price of the Armory Bundle to $5,500. The Master Gun AS VAL is live!!!

One of only two in the USA The AS Val is a Soviet integrally suppressed assault rifle developed by TsNIITochMash in the late 1980s for special operations units requiring stealth and armor penetration. Chambered in subsonic 9×39mm, it shares much of its design with the VSS Vintorez marksman rifle. It uses a long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and incorporates its suppressor directly into the barrel, venting gases through ports into baffles to reduce muzzle blast. The rifle’s compact size, folding steel stock, and 20-round magazine make it suitable for close-quarters and covert operations. 

 Key features include: Integrated suppressor for reduced sound and flash signature, Side-folding skeleton stock for portability, Side rail for optics including PSO-1 and night sights, Compatibility with VSS magazines, Ability to defeat body armor at close to medium ranges with SP-6 ammunition

It is a variant of the FN Minimi, a Belgian-designed machine gun, and has been in service with the U.S. military since the 1980s. Weighing approximately 17 lbs unloaded, the M249 is primarily belt-fed but can also accept 30-round M16 magazines in emergencies. Need more firepower? Try equipping your weapons with an alternate magazine type and enter the world of drum magazines. Modern Drum Mags: aftertouchaudio.com/product/modern… Each drum mag comes with a standard set of foley actions including: Grab Hard and Soft gloved and ungloved. Insert and removal empty and loaded. Included a few bonus samples partially-loaded to the drums that had an audible difference in them. (Not all drums had an audible difference when partial or full). Microphones. Each recording in the Modern Drum Mags library has been sampled with 3 sets of microphones to give you a complete frequency spectrum including ultrasonic frequencies. Neumann KRM 81i mts as the foundation due to their warm bottom-end. Stereo set of bright Sennheiser MKH 8050s. Sanken CO-100k to capture all the ultrasonic frequencies produced by these drum mags which allows you to take full advantage of the 192kHz recordings. Pitch any of these sounds down to make them larger without losing any of the fidelity. 1,350+ Sounds - 57 Files - 192kHz - 1.75+ GB
