@professor_dave @anonacademic_uk ‘I just received this email from Mizuki who asked me to confirm with you…’ I have yet to see an example where it isn’t as easy, if not easier, to just not use a pronoun. Encouraging (pressuring?) anyone to go public with their pronouns is problematic for many people.

I found my bio father and sister through #DNA matching. Both had died. Both had suffered with rare and aggressive cancers. #genetic ? Just one reason we should all have automatic access to full birth records #adopted #adoptee #adopteevoices

* Adoption economics * 80% of services for adopted people in the UK have been cut. We have to pay £££ of own money to get support. If you believe #adoptees should have free/subsidised support please RT so I can find funding to get amazing projects off the ground.

Really hoping that we’ll see an increase in empathy for our children now we’ve all learnt more about what it feels like to live in a state of fear, be constantly on high alert and be separated from family and friends - all so familiar to many care experienced children.

@mrsbutler123 Yes! Very similar situation here. So disappointing as school had been great so far but have really lost confidence in them. Generic email from HT this week to say they might start looking into doing video calls - how has that taken 8 weeks. Also... pick up the phone!!! 😠

If Boris cancels HS2. He could afford to ‘give’ every household in the U.K. a gift of £10k to enable them to self quarantine for 8-12 weeks. Job done!
