Business process planning tip # 2: Identify and analyze the stakeholders in the project In scoping out a Notion process for a business, it's critical to identify all the stakeholders involved in a process. Identifying and analyzing all stakeholders will help you to define: a) How closely you need to manage them b) How, how frequently and what channel to use in communication c) How to prioritize the needs of each stakeholder For each stakeholder, consider their level of influence, their interest in the project, to what extent they are impacted by the project, their desired level of detail and preferred communication method.

Business process planning tip # 1: Define the high level parameters of the project. Before jumping into project, start by defining and writing down these 5 questions: 1. How do you define success for this project? Who will be measuring success and how will they measure it? 2. What is the scope and what is the problem you are trying to resolve or the opportunity you are trying to exploit with this project? 3. What is the budget and what is the value that the organization expects in return for this investment? 4. When does this needs to be done and what is driving that date? 5. Where can this go wrong and how are we going to prevent that?
