Back from Orlando and diving in here. This line "Genrich suggested the team dip into its $500 million investment fund to pay for local development" demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of that fund or indeed the Packers precarious position comparative to their peers.

Genrich is a money hungry liberal. Here's a great example,... Our city was reassessed just 3 years ago. It raised property taxes for most homeowners. But now with all the raises they gave to the union employees he's wanting to raise those assessments another 7% to raise more tax revenue. He's scum.
@AaronNagler can someone tell what that means as if I'm twelve years old
@AaronNagler It’s 88 here in Disney, looks like a storm any time now
@AaronNagler @cheeseheadtv Have there been any changes to the charter/bylaws—specifically regarding dissolution of the team instead of relocation? I don’t remember seeing anything about that but…
@AaronNagler I agree with this. I also think from a public sector budgeting perspective, the City of Green Bay would be very unwise to accept a drastically lower payment from the team for 9 to 18 years if they want to be good fiduciary stewards of their tax dollars & future budgets.
@AaronNagler Not a Greenbay native but I have family there. Unless the Packers are asking to put the city over a barrel and show them the 50 states then I don’t get the pushback. It seems a pretty good setup for both parties but I guess this is what happens whenever politicking get involved
@AaronNagler come on, dude. literally what the fund is for.
@AaronNagler What is that fund for exactly? Can it be used to pay players and coaches or is it just for stadium renovations
