Wet mold filled crawlspace due to lack of ventilation and water proofing. Before and during cleaning. Insulation was saturated.
If your basement or crawlspace floods and the HVAC is located in those areas have them inspected and cleaned! This is from a basement that had 3 inches of water due to unplugged sump pump. The air handler and circuit board has visible mold growth.

Leaking HVAC unit, the leak wicked into the carpet and padding. Luckily this was caught in time and microbial growth was at a minimum.
Vapor barrier install, 12 mill poly, seams overlapped 24 inches taped, penetration points sealed.
Allergy complaint suspected mold, air test confirmed high levels of mold spore in upstairs teens bedroom. Sink contaminated with vegetive growths protruding from drainage ports under pop up drainage stopper. Clean sinks regularly!
Failed Home Inspection, no vapor barrier, evidence of previous flooding, insulation is damp and falling due to high ambient moisture saturation and no insulation supports. Microbial growth along floor joists.
Microbial growth due to moisture vapor exhausting from the washing machine drainage pipe. As moisture vapor exhausts out it will re-condense allowing for microbial growth. These lines should be capped while the home is sitting for sale.
Another area where mold growth is frequently found is along the interior roof ridge board.
Microbial encapsulation of exposed joists and under floor sheathing in a basement using airless sprayers after pre cleaning and treatment.
HVAC furnace flue pipe in crawlspace with visible corrosion due to leaks. If you see this on your HVAC call a HVAC service technician and have it corrected immediately.
Another home failed home inspection, these are after pictures, joists were almost black prior to treatment.

Crawlspace was fully contaminated with fungi and mold and failed the home inspection. Before and after.

Water intrusion into a home through the basement slab via hydrostatic pressure. The basement was completely flooded 30 min later.
Hydrostatic pressure moisture intrusion through block foundation created conditions favorable for microbial growth within the wall voids.
Bathroom water line leaked into the wall void below. These pictures were taken after the dry wall was removed.
Faulty condensate pump allowed the carpet to become saturated which then wicked into the drywall.
