Deadly Chicago traffic stop where police fired 96 shots raises serious questions about use of force apnews.com/article/police…
The criminal shot first, and you always shoot to eliminate the threat. Just because it took 96 rounds is irrelevant. Have you ever had to shoot at somebody while under Fire? Kind of hard to be accurate, not many people could do it. If that's how many rounds it took to eliminate the threat then the police were justified.
@AP It should raise serious questions about why these people need to commit crimes and refuse to comply when they are apprehended by Police.
@AP Comply so you don’t die. Also, it’s best not to shoot at cops. Might wanna jot that down.
@AP Yup, serious concerns indeed. - suspect not pulled over but stopped at a checkpoint. - suspect awaiting trial on another felony gun charge - suspect fired 11 rounds at police before they started returning gun fire. Why didn't the police shoot sooner?
@AP You forgot to add this alternative photo too.
@AP Shouldn't the headline at least mention that the officers were RETURNING fire, since they were shot at 1st? Oh wait....this is AP.... never mind, carry on.
