@Anna_Soubry Following dogma without a plan of what you will do when you get there is just standard Tory policy, e.g. less money for health service no expansion of private health for majority, no money for social care no plan for aging population, austerity but no plan to grow industry.

@daily_politics Restaurants should display hourly pay rates for staff grades so the customer can decide who they want to support. ... not a bad idea for other businesses as well.

@Ageing_Better @MyNottingham In another decade or so it'll be great to know that I can sit down in the few shops that haven't gone on line. Meanwhile I'd age better if employers showed a more positive attitude to hiring #50Plus job applicants.

@designcouncil @karenwhatever @UnLtd Well I rather thought I might get made be redundant in my mid 50s, have my pension postponed by a Government that couldn't afford it so that I could spend the next decade scrabbling around for poorly paid jobs before dying in a pool of piss and shit in the corridor of a hospital

@TAEN_Uk @crystal_balls @agediversity @Ageing_Better @ShawTrust @DWP Well work was good for me until redundancy left me exposed to blatant age discrimination in the work place, now like many of my +50Plus friends I'm doing a shite job for shite money on a zero hours contract ... roll on retirement .. only another 9 more soul destroying years to go
