Namjoon is actually very underrated in the industry as a lyricist, as a poet. The themes he touches on are things I find on philosophy books, spirituality books, etc and even when the song leans on the more personal side he colors it in such a touching way.
@7seventannies His lyricism is very under-rated. He uses a lot of poetic styled in his raps and you're right he is poet. He drives inspiration from life in general and he embeds it in a very beautiful way. He's a treasure honestly
@7seventannies 100% agree. I get a mini kick out of the fact that the translators are always saying his words are some of the hardest to keep intact without losing its full impact. Our Namjoon is a wonder to behold 🔥💜🔥💜🔥💜🔥💜🔥
@7seventannies If Namjoon wrote mostly in english he would be considered this generation’s Bob Dylan 💙🪻
@7seventannies his lyrics are like a treasure hunt for the listeners who actually enjoy digging deeper into his ideas & analogies, but at the same time it's so easy for everything to fly over your head if you're just casually listening - he does it so tactfully...
@7seventannies Some themes are also very familiar, like hanging out w/ friends, sharing songs & funny pictures but you have to understand the person to like their content & I just feel that only few people (even tought we are not that few) can understand the beauty & the warmth behind it.
@7seventannies Namjoon is all about understanding, calm, knowledge, words, poems, art, landscape, nature. He is a journey on his own. If u find someone that loves him, be sure that this person is special, a true friend.
