It seems like social media has become a technocracy style of belief system to the point where “trust the experts” was the end all be all for anything during COVID. People are announcing their titles before their posts on social media as if it’s supposed to make any difference. More people need to understand stupid exists in every single profession. There are stupid doctors, stupid lawyers, stupid professors, retarded electricians… most College/Universities nowadays are giving kids higher confidence without the competence. Just because you have the title doesn’t necessarily mean you’re that level of expertise. Anyone that lets their confidence outgrow their competence is dangerous to themselves and others. And social media masks that entirely too well.

I've argued capitalism vs. communism with hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Out of all these individuals, only three had actually attempted to read The Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital and had a decent grasp of Marxism/communism and how it was supposed to function. Let that sink in. Hundreds of people advocating for a violent revolution to overthrow the government in favor of communism—a concept they don't understand because they’re too fucking lazy to read the instruction manual. And they think, “communism is when free stuff.” Ironically, this is why communism doesn’t work. People are inherently lazy. And if you can’t incentivize lazy people with more money, you have to do it with the threat of force from an authoritarian government. Communism is a perfect work of art attempting to be created on the imperfect canvas of man. That is why it is doomed to fail.
