2027 1B/3B @cjbbaseball27 of @gcsbaseball1 continues to be one of my favorite corner infield prospects. He's gotten a lot of quality experience playing against some of the top Private School programs in the State the past couple seasons Bat is dynamic, creates a lot of energy. Buries his eyes into the swing. Stays connected, great swing path. Top Exit Velo was 95 MPH, averaged 92 MPH on 6/10. XBH pop. I got to see it play in game the last couple seasons. Plays an above average 1B, baseball IQ and good feel around the bag. Arm is up to 83 MPH. I have attached 2026 Varsity Highlight Tape with both offensive and defensive clips in the thread. Most casual punch out I’ve ever seen in a big moment by a first base ump. Love it. Confident, no emotion, made correct call - and didn’t make it about him. Simple and correct like it should be. I bet he calls a tight/true zone when behind the plate. Probably a great guy too. Don’t know anything about the guy but gota give respect to umpires that just do their job and nothing else.

For everyone who's got a problem with the MLB players writing Bible verses on their hats during their team's Pride Night game, I've got another scenario for you. An MLB team decides to have Christian Night at the Park, and requires each player to wear a hat with a cross on it, rather than the team's logo. What's your response?

Landon King was named Perkins Builder Brothers Player of the Game for opening night! Landon safely reached base in four of his five plate appearances. He also collected three hits on the night including a two-run homerun!
