Powerwall still over 95% charged after 20 hours without power (given the heavy snow and ice, I did have to rake one portion of the solar today to make sure I got a decent recharge). We could go like this forever at this time of year.
Grid power was out for about 40 hours (late Sat to midday Mon). Our single Powerwall backs up all our critical loads (well pump, furnace, fridge, some lights and outlets). Ran the waffle iron for the kids, the tea pot for wife, and espresso machine for me for off grid breakfast.
We all took hot showers and invited some local friends (who don't yet have solar) to come over for dinner and to fill water jugs and charge their devices. Though I only had 1/3 of the solar unburied, we had excess power all day and SOC never went below 70% overnight. #solarworks!
@4_2_knot 40 hours🤯? Good thing we’re with @teslaenergy 👍
