when i miss my ex i think about how iād have panic attacks bc heād cook everything in a fucking gallon of olive oil āfor the flavorā even though it just made everything soggy and gross. hard to miss that

and nowā¦. after a very long depressive episode in which I barely went outside or did anything, the fog has lifted a littleā¦ so naturally I have been restricting again to regain the sense of control Iāve been sorely lacking
OK so i havenāt used Twitter in year and half but in that time i did date my guy best friend and it was many months of gaslighting, lies, manipulation, emotional abuse and then many more months of torture and mixed signals bc i was too weak to walk away
this is my best friend who is a guy and i am the emotional support friend and i am TIRED Jesus Christ

@skinnibitchhh iām white and my brother and I were able to stand on the front line in order to protect BIPOC behind us. it wasnāt a moment for us to speak out, and it definitely shouldnāt be giving white people a platform- it was time for us to listen. but making a physical barrier does help.

@coffeencalories im first gen and had to take a year off for $$ reasons but am now back and working towards my degree again- and the guilt and shame can be so much, even when Iām doing my best it feels like Iām failing and not doing enough. but at the end of the day, Iām the only one in my shoes
