Punk is dead but hardcore isn’t — and it is probably the last white-coded, aggressive “scene” out there. In the next three years, it will either be taken over by energetic youth or ceded to Reddit millennials. Something to think about.
Metal, hardcore, metalcore, etc. are pretty much up for grabs right now. The entire cultural capital of the descendants of “punk” could be claimed by people who actually like their core audience; actual dissidents And you aren’t starting a band just for fun?

@0xAlaric As someone who is in the scene, it’s gonna go both ways. The only issue is that all the gigs are ran by gay pagan losers who hate everyone who doesn’t conform to their ideals and specific tastes. Sure it’s strong in the youth, but they are consumed by propaganda
