They’re not vindicated. Tavistock was providing poor care. It wasn’t transiting kids that weren’t trans. It was not providing good enough care to trans kids who ARE trans. Parents have been left with no support and that my friends is the scandal. Healthcare was weaponised.4/4.

There are still questions about the report. Why have Reddit articles been included as ‘research’ but studies done in the last 2 years not. Etc etc Anti trans activists are lying about its contents. ‘Mutilation of children’ and ‘medical scandal.’ 2/X

So now the dust is settling on the Cass report, it’s clear that it WAS weaponised by anti trans activists who made claims that the report does not support. They’ve used it to attack the Equality Act, LGBTQ+ inclusive education and tried to shame trans allies 1/X

Why do transphobes keep ignoring the fact that poll after poll shows women are more supportive of trans people than men and that lesbians are the most supportive demographic of all? Apart from it completely destroys their claim to represent women/lesbians?

the richard ayoade terf situation has made me realise how appreciative I am of celebrities who actively show their support for the lgbtqia+ community, even if it’s as small as wearing a pin or holding a flag, e.g. david tennant wearing a non binary / pride pin.
