Players: Until the day comes when you are perfect, never make an error, never strike out, never walk a batter, never make a mental error and are on point with your preparation, you shouldn’t even be talking about your teammates mistakes, the umpires “bad calls” or how you think…
Efficient Offense Runs are equal or greater than hits. Example-8 hits 10 runs. Or 6 hits 6 runs. Requires incredible discipline, the ability to run the bases smart, and take the extra base. Extra base hits, plate discipline, taking walks, and toughness. It's what great teams do.
You are responsible for your mindset. You are responsible for your effort. You are responsible for your words. You are responsible for your attitude. You are responsible for your energy. You are responsible for your impact. Take ownership.
What WINS? A lot more is needed beyond TALENT. You only need "enough" Talent. But, then what? 1. Commitment 2. Toughness 3. Mindset 4. Competitiveness 5. Leadership 6. Culture How do you DEVELOP these attributes in your team? The Best Coaches Do.

The difference for most HS hitters between batting .250 vs .300 is just 4 hits. Losing your cool after your 1st or 2nd AB, is weaksauce. Turn the 0-for-2 into a 1-3, or the 0-3 into a 1-4 just 4 times & completely change your season. Ex. 80 AB/20 H = .250 80 AB/24 H = .300
PLAYERS: Before you question your playing time, honestly evaluate how you're using your practice time. Make sure that you're bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a team-first mentality to practice. Build good habits in practice. Find ways to be valuable. Make your teammates better.

Players Bad body language is contagious to followers and despised by leaders and winners. Nobody wants to watch or listen to your immature temper tantrums. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and compete. Stop thinking you're entitled to success. You're not.
A team that backs up bases, commands the strike zone, takes gritty at bats, runs the bases smart and hard, makes the routine play look routine and loves playing the game is usually hard to beat. These things don't require the best players but do require the right players.
