@AaronParnas Moderation goes thru 5 or so levels- some are computer levels and the rest are human. Human moderators are expects to see 1000 TTs per day. It would depend on what you posted, if there was violence, graphic images etc.

However, as BD is a privately held company that has the Gov on it’s board, with the most sophisticated algo drawing in more data than the others, and who has admitted hacking accounts.. a few questions aren’t unwarranted.

@FosterThePrson Once upon a time phone numbers were printed in a paper directory - the ‘Phone book’ - and if we wanted a silent listing we asked for it and then controlled who we gave our number to. Imagine that!

@JGademski @WhosFibbing I had a conversation with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion for a large TV station - it was about trans, pronouns, LGBTQ+ etc. The response was - if this is a historical moment we don’t want to be on the wrong side of it. So basically it is branding and virtue signalling.

@AllenSu15828937 @FosterThePrson @RepHudsonNC What he seems to be asking is - can they collect data from other devices logged into that wifi. The answer is yes, but not necessarily via the wifi. TT scrape data from your friends and family via partner apps. Once you open up TT there is no privacy for U your family or friends
