Tomasz has always impressed me with his work ethic, his unique personality, and the kind of organization that he built at Nethermind. He brought a perspective on Ethereum, what blockchains fundamentally are, and how they fit into the future of the world as a whole, that was creative and unique and different from what I saw anyone else in any of the various tribes of crypto discourse saying. In his year at the EF, Tomasz helped to greatly increase the efficiency of many parts of the foundation, and turn the EF into an organization that is much more responsive to the world outside. He brought fresh new energy to the organization, and as a result of his encouragement and support, the Ethereum Foundation is regularly doing things well outside its previous comfort zone. He has also pushed all of us to think differently about what Ethereum can do and how Ethereum can be used, and to take seriously the radical changes that AI might bring to our blockchain world. I look forward to seeing the exciting work that Tomasz will continue to do, both within Ethereum and outside.
