A few important points: 1. Italy ranks third in the EU for non-EU citizens found to be illegally present. Eurostat data shows Italy records around 195,000 illegally present migrants per year (roughly 15% of the EU total), compared to Spain, which records approximately 80,000 to 100,000 (roughly 6% to 8% of the EU total). In terms of total resident undocumented populations, estimates put Italy at around 500,000 to 700,000, compared to Spain's 390,000 to 500,000. 2. Italy cannot unilaterally suspend Schengen Area rules regarding Spain on its own. 3. Migrants cannot simply travel from Ceuta to mainland Spain without going through controls, so it is impossible for them to freely reach the rest of Europe from there. 4. What Spain needs right now is help and support from its EU allies, not backlash. We need to cooperate, not make the situation worse.

@mrubin1971 Melilla has been Spanish since 1497. Ceuta was Portuguese since 1415 and then Spanish since 1580. Long before Moroccco even existed.

You might have seen news about thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border between Morocco and Spain, and you might be confused about how, why or where is this happening. Ceuta is a city located in Africa that has belonged to Spain since 1580, way before Morocco existed as a State. Ceuta, as well as Melilla, is a sovereign Spanish territory in Africa. Spain has diplomatic relations with Morocco and Algeria, both of which are economic powers in North Africa and rivals. Every time Spain makes economic or political agreements with one of them, the other uses hybrid warfare tactics to put pressure on the Spanish government. A major and historic issue has been the sovereignty of Western Sahara, which was Spanish territory until 1976, after Morocco once again used its population as a weapon and organized "The Green March", where around 350,000 people marched into sovereign Spanish territory to conquer and annex Western Sahara. The recent conflict revolves around Spain reaching an agreement with Algeria regarding cheap gas supply, which is an economic activity that competes directly with Moroccan gas. This is not the first time Morocco has used its own people as a weapon to put pressure on Spain; it also happened in 2021.

“VCs are defending the chart” is a claim with zero evidence attached. Locked tokens cannot be sold. There is no mechanism here, just a screenshot and a skull emoji. Let’s actually walk through the supply picture: 1.The cliff hits Dec 27, 2026. After that, team and investor allocations vest linearly over 3 years at roughly 13.9M LIT per month. This has been public since TGE. It is the single most telegraphed supply event in the perp DEX sector. Anyone positioned in LIT already knows it. 2.Unlocked does not mean sold. Insiders vesting into a 3 year linear schedule are not dumping month one. Look at how HYPE absorbed its unlocks: the market priced the schedule, not the headline. 3.The “$40M per year buyback” framing treats a revenue funded mechanism as a fixed number. It is not. Buybacks scale with protocol revenue, and the revenue base is expanding on three fronts: → Circle USDC interest share, projected at $30M to $40M in incremental annual income → Telegram native perps, live and tapping a user base of hundreds of millions → Robinhood Chain integration, live since July Each of those flows straight into buyback capacity. The run rate you quote is a snapshot of the smallest the buyback will ever be. 4.The buyback is already accelerating. 10M LIT repurchased in a single program, about 4% of circulating supply, removed and burned. That is not defense, that is the mechanism working as designed. 5.The 250M airdrop was the real overhang. Fully dispersed, fully sellable, and the market already digested it. What remains locked is held by parties with 3 year time horizons and a C Corp structure aligning them to protocol revenue, not exit liquidity. The serious bear case is that trading volume declines and revenue growth stalls before the vest ramps.
