So proud of Ashtabula County for putting on a spectacular D-Day reenactment. The most meaningful part was seeing WW2 veterans seated in the front row to watch the whole thing. Thanks to the leaders of the event, including law enforcement, who helped make it possible.

Jack Einstein, 101 years old, served in the Army during World War II. It was my special honor to fly aboard the exact same C-47 aircraft that towed two gliders on D-Day, with Jack as our incredible pilot. He proudly served our country for 40 years & we honor him today in Ohio.

Last night in Cincinnati, a 34-year-old woman was gunned down in Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati. 15 shots fired. She wasn’t involved. Just standing on the corner. Listen to the comments from Kelzé M. Riley at our town hall on Monday. Her words ring even more true today: we cannot accept this as normal. It’s time to restore law and order in our cities.
